Zelle® (rhymes with sell) is a fast, safe and easy way to send and receive money with friends, family and others you know and trust, even if they have a different financial institution.* Money is sent using only an email address or U.S. mobile number, so sensitive account information remains safe. Best of all, money arrives typically within minutes between enrolled users.**
Paying people back used to be awkward and time-consuming. Paying in cash required a trip to the ATM. With Zelle®, payments are simple, quick and your money goes directly from your checking to theirs, with no stops in between. Zelle® is already in the banking apps of more than a thousand trusted financial institutions.
Today, more than 150 million people have access to Zelle® directly through their banking app. Even if your payee doesn’t have Zelle® through their bank or credit union, they still can use it by downloading the Zelle® app and enrolling with an eligible Visa® or Mastercard® debit card.
