Louella Williams – President/CEO
Lou joined TEFCU in January of 1974 as office manager, and later earned promotions to operations manager, vice president and ultimately, her current position as president/CEO. In this role, she is responsible for the overall operations of Texoma Educators, focusing on administration, investments, lending, accounting and leadership.
Prior to joining TEFCU, Lou served as credit union manager for the City of Denison. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She also completed a theology degree at Southern Methodist University and the Southwest CUNA (Credit Union National Association) Management School at the University of North Texas.
Lou grew up in Denison and has extensive ties throughout the North Texas community. She has served on the board of directors for Goodwill Industries as treasurer, as pastor of her Methodist church, on the local Veteran’s Board, numerous Grayson College boards, the North Texas Conference Board of Finance, and as director of the Texas Credit Union League for both legislative and advisory functions. In addition, Lou has served with the Texoma Chapter of Credit Unions, as an instructor in Accounting at Grayson College, and as an instructor at the International Business School.
